Let us introduce you to Stella, the feisty and fabulous miniature horse who kickstarted the magic at Snuggle Farms! Stella was our first-ever mini, and boy, did she dazzle us. She was small, sassy, and her coat was a rainbow of colors. But here's the kicker: She was a tough nut to crack. Stella had some trust issues, and catching her was like wrangling a wild bull! Her previous owner thought she'd be happier with someone else, and that's where we swooped in. We knew she was the one, and we showered her with love, treats, and time. And guess what? It worked! Stella finally opened up to us, and we were over the moon. And then, our little superstar surprised us with a bun in the oven! We welcomed the cutest pinto colt, Little Sebastian, with baby blue eyes. As Stella raised her baby, she transformed into the most snuggly and precious pony on the farm. We cherish her and thank her for being the magical spark that lit the Snuggle Farms fire!

Our hearts have been stolen by our beloved mare, Dotty! Despite being nervous about purchasing her sight unseen, we took the risk and it paid off. Stephenie discovered an ad for a retired breeding ranch and was immediately drawn to the stallion Dotty was in foal to. The ranch owner offered to sell Dotty in foal, so we jumped at the chance and arranged for her to be transported all the way to Arizona.
Sadly, Dotty faced an unforeseen complication during her pregnancy and lost her baby a few months before the due date. We were devastated for her. Luckily Dotty made lots of new mini animal friends who helped her recover quickly from the loss of her baby. Since then Dotty has given us two of the most perfect foals, Don Juan, and Trinity. They not only are spitting images of her, but they have her amazing laid back personality. Dotty's gentle spirit makes her a perfect fit to Snuggle Farms. She adores being pampered and decorated by children and her favorite part of the day is spending time with the goats and basking in the Arizona sun. |
Stephenie's first real rescue, Flip, became a beloved part of the family. Originally searching for a broodmare to contribute to her breeding program, Stephenie stumbled upon Flip. He was scared of people and in dire condition - skinny, scabbed, and with a mane and tail that had been rubbed completely raw. A friend had purchased him for the sole reason that he was no longer wanted and she was hoping to find him a new home.
Despite her initial intentions, Stephenie decided to buy Flip from her friend. His sweet and gentle nature quickly won over everyone on the ranch. In particular, Mike became quite taken with Flip and adopted him as his own personal horse. Flip is now a favorite among visitors to the ranch. Though Flip arrived in poor condition, his loving personality has helped him to thrive. He turned into an absolutely gorgeous stallion and a much-loved member of the family. |
Shimmer, was our newest addition to the family of Snuggle Farms horse family. This stunning miniature mare was purchased from a reputable breeder, and immediately caught our eye as a perfect companion for one of our appaloosa stallions. What sets her apart was her striking dappled coat, gorgeous head, and beautiful eyes. She was absolutely breathtaking and we knew we had to have her!
Shimmer's friendly and affectionate demeanor quickly won us over, and she fit right in with the rest of the herd. Her best friend is Stella, and they share a special bond. Shimmer loves being pampered and groomed, and she knows how beautiful she is! Shimmer is also barn favorite for pony races! Shimmer and Turbo created a beautiful baby for us named Trinket. |
We are thrilled to welcome Cora to our Snuggle Farms herd! Originally, Cora and her barn buddy Moon were sold to someone who later changed their mind while they were in transit to their new home. This left both horses stranded on a horse hauler traveling across the Southwest. Being pregnant, the situation was far from ideal for the mares. Fortunately, the original owner posted on Facebook seeking a new home for the two mares and we knew we had to help. We found someone to pick them up from Utah and bring them to Arizona. However, the journey was not without its challenges. Cora gave birth at a truck stop en route to Arizona, but both she and her foal arrived safely. Despite being underweight (from being stuck on a trailer for weeks), Cora had a healthy baby and we were able to put her on the right medical program to get her back on track. We are very thankful that we saved Cora. Who knows what would have happened to her or her baby if she stayed stuck on a horse trailer traveling the county. She is so kind and sweet and we couldn’t imagine life without her. Her “truckstop” baby Trip ended up growing big and healthy and now is in a therapy program to teach people about animals.

Step into a land of magic and wonder and say hello to Violet, the most adorable unicorn ever! This magnificent pony-sized creature calls Snuggle Farms her home and is ready to snuggle up with anyone who comes her way. We stumbled upon Violet through an online listing and knew she was a gem the moment we laid eyes on her. Before she joined our crew, her previous owners had used her for their kids to ride around their ranch with their dad. But as the kids grew up, they decided to sell her, and we couldn't resist buying her sight unseen! Now, Violet is the beloved star of our snuggle farm family, spreading love and rainbows wherever she goes.
