Stella was one of the first 3 ponies we purchased. She was everything we wanted in a mini, beautiful, colorful, and small. BUT... she was a bit fearful of new people and hard to catch. Her owner could not catch her easily, and decided she would be a better fit for someone else. We fell in love at first sight and decided we would put in the work to get her more gentle. It took lots of time and treats but she finally came around. Stella was pregnant when we purchased her. She gave Snuggle Farms a beautiful pinto colt with blue eyes. We named him Little Sebastian. Stella still can be a little shy, but comes around for kids, especially if there is treats involved. She is also apart of our breeding program, and we look forward to her cuddly babies every year!

We love our Dotty girl! When we decided to purchase Dotty, she was the first pony that we had ever purchased sight unseen. Stephenie saw an ad for a breeding ranch that was retiring, and Stephenie fell in love with a stallion that Dotty was bred to, The lady was selling Dotty in foal. We decided to buy her and have her shipped to Arizona. In Dotty's previous home she was turned out with other pregnant mares. She obviously ate their food and was obese pregnant. A few months after she arrived she lost her baby. We were absolutely devastated for her, and it was the first heart break we experienced at our farm. We decided to give her time off from being a broodmare and work on getting her back in shape. We put her on a diet, and started an exercise program. Dotty has always been a snuggly citizen, and loves attention. Now Dotty is slick, shiny and a great weight. She is now back in our breeding program and doing perfectly. She is a barn favorite!

Flip was one of Stephenie's first rescues. At the time, Stephenie was looking to purchase another broodmare to ad to her breeding program. She had a friend who had a cute mare that she was thinking about buying. Her friend was showing her around the property, and Stephenie saw Flip. He was super skinny, and had scabs from the top of his mane, to the bottom. The entire top of his tail hairs were bloody and rubbed out. Her friend purchased him because he was no longer loved or wanted. He had been turned out with other ponies without attention for a long time and it was obvious he was missing the human touch. Stephenie decided to scratch the broodmare idea and took Flip home. After about a week, he stole the heart of everyone on the ranch. He is the sweetest, kindest, and most loving soul. Mike instantly fell in love with this guy, and has taken him on as his personal horse. Mike takes him for runs around the neighborhood, and spoils him with lots of attention and treats. Flip is a favorite to almost everyone who comes to the ranch. Now that Flip is fat and happy, we decided he is an official Snuggle Farms breeding stallion.

We purchased Shimmer from a high end miniature horse breeder. She caught our attention as a "girlfriend" for Turbo. She is a rare colored dapple appaloosa with a blue eye. Plus her head is striking. Shimmer has a great "love everyone human" type of personality and fit right in! Her best horsey friend is Stella and they are pretty much inseparable. She is expecting her first baby in January of 2021 .

We are so happy to have Cora as part of the Snuggle Farms herd! Her and her barn buddy Moon were sold to someone (not us) that changed their mind while they were in transit to their new home. Long story short, when the client changed their mind, Cora and Moon were both stuck with a horse hauler that was traveling across the Southwest. Both mares were pregnant, and being stuck on a horse trailer was not an ideal situation. The original owner posted on Facebook that these two cuties needed to find a new home ASAP and they were in limbo on the road. We knew we needed to save these two prego mommies! We found someone who was willing to pick them up from Utah and bring them to Arizona. On the ride to Arizona, Cora decided to have her baby at a truck stop. Luckily they arrived to Arizona safely and we were able to get them the vet care they needed as soon as the trailer pulled up. Cora was very underweight for being pregnant, but she had a healthy baby, and we got her on the correct feed and exercise program. Turns out Cora was the perfect add to the ranch, all the other ponies love her and she is especially fond of children.
